Works great thanks! It's amazing to see how far computers have came from this to games like Unreal Tournament 3 but still good old retro fun. :-D

Hey man,

Thanks for posting this. I download it, but I'm not sure how I get the game up and running once I do. I have WinZip, but I'm unfamiliar with getting it set up afterwards. Do I need any preexisting Quake 2 files?

Any guidance you can give would be great. I'm a finance guy, not a computer guy.

when i start q2e.exe(evolved), sounds NOT works, in audio setup im not able to change audio device.... somebo pls HELP MEH!!!

4 ppl who have still problem with sounds on Q2E, i figured teh problem out... just go here http://www.teamblurgames.com/q2e/files.htm and download OpenAL... then all sounds work properly

Mate, on the original quake game there is no back round music!. Sure the game is playable but whats the point with out all the nostalgic riffs that we all remember!. is there any way to get the music working? have i missed something to make it work? please help =)
